Remove Sheet Disabled

I was recently working on answering this question where in the process of solving it I taught myself how to modify the Excel ribbon XML. My testing may have had unintended consequences because now in every workbook I open, even a brand new one, the 'Remove Sheet" command is disabled as shown below for all sheets. It may be that my testing had nothing to do with the problem but does anyone have any idea how to fix this?

I wasnt aware you could remove Worksheets from the VBE, only from the Excel interface.

Hmm. I wonder what I did to cause it to be there?
Sorry, I meant that the option is disabled. It is still visible, but greyed out.
The option is listed in the VBE menu but not functional on my PC. Maybe it's a remnant from older versions,. I thought maybe to remove Macro Sheets, but after checking it doesn't list Macro Sheets.
It has never been available for any Excel objects (worksheets, workbooks, etc). It can only remove VB objects as I mentioned above.
Thanks. I guess I put 2 and 2 together and got 5.
