Is There Such A Thing As A Website Macro or Script to Repeat a Given Set of Steps??

I have to vote for a particular candidate multiple times each day for the next few months for a social competition and yep they want you to actually vote for your choice multiple times.  This is done using a web browser.  After you select the link for your candidate and fill out your information (name, address, email, phone) you click a button to Vote.  When completed you get a page with an option to Vote Again.  When you click Vote Again you don't have to fill out the information again.  Or once you vote the first time you can just hit the back button in your browser and click vote.

Is there something like a Macro or Script that I can use to repeat the steps above???

Thanks,

ET

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

AutoIT or Selenium, but isn't cheating, even when it's permitted?

Thanks for the quick response ste5an.  I think a lot of the other candidates are doing this so I just want mine to be in the loop as well.  It's just a social competition  ... nothing real serious or political.

You could write a quick script to cURL the POST or GET to the webapp after you've captured the headers and POST/GET data once. Check these out:

http://curl.haxx.se/docs/httpscripting.html

Also, I would use AutoIT if you don't have the time or desire like what ste5an recommended. It's the best solution for what you're asking other than to cURL.
