What is the [@] in front of a view in MVC using VS 2012

New to MVC

I have  a project in visual studio.  The views all have [@] in front.    What doe s the [@] represent?  I have include a screen shot

Hi,

As far as i know they are icons is to identity it as VIEW & I don't think it have any special preference.

As we have different items like web.config, web service, web form, global.asax, stylesheet .css file. the icons are just to identify then items.

It's just an icon and .cshtml is for C# code file and .vbhtml is for VB.NET code file.
