If you use the add/remove programs, it should uninstall properly. &nbsp;(Add/Remove programs changes modes automatically).<br />

However... and this is an important one. &nbsp;If the application was *not* installed using change user /install by *someone else* and then you try to uninstall it, it will very likely fail because the directory structures don't match. &nbsp;In that particular circumstance, the user account that installed it must be the one to uninstall it. &nbsp;(You can hack around that part, it is a lot of work and very chancy at best. &nbsp;<br />

And all of this is based on the idea that the program had a relatively &quot;standard&quot; installer, otherwise it may just not be doable. <br />
