The buyer will probably be disappointed but as long as you contact them apologising that you cannot complete the sale I don't think anyone can force you to part with your item.<br />
It may have been discovered broken when you went to wrap it and that would have the same result.<br />
You are not being dishonest, it was a genuine sale and your circumstances changed.<br />
Contact the buyer, explain and apologise and refund them.
