Exchange 2013 to Exchange 2013 Public folder Mailbox Migration

Experts,

I need to migrate the public folders from one Exchange 2013 server to another Exchange 2013 server and decommission  the original server

As the public folders are now stored in a public folder mailbox, would it be possible just to move the original PF mailbox to a mailbox on the destination server and keep all of the Public Folders/permissions/mail enabled folders intact ?

Original Server-Windows 2012, Exchange 2013 (Version 15.0 Build 913.22),
Replacement server-Windows 2012R2, Exchange 2013 (Version15.0 Build 1044.25)

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Kind Regards,
Vaughan
