outlook issue

Every time I send an email with an attachment, it automatically saves an unread copy to my trash folder.  Why is this?  Is there a way to stop this?

Look in Outlook Options, Mail Options, Save Messages. I use Defaults here. Has the setting to save in Drafts changed?

The try:

1. Outlook Repair. Go to control panel, Programs and Features, click on Office and do a repair. Restart and try again.

2. Create a new test Windows User Profile (account) log into the new account and test Outlook in test new account. You may have a damaged Windows Profile
