Ending in 4 weeks from sysdate

Hi Guys,

Just wanted to check this was correct:

AND projected_end_date = sysdate + 4*7

Open in new window

Does the above look at anyone who is about to leave 4 weeks before their projected_end_date?

are you not getting correct output with this : AND projected_end_date = sysdate + 28 ?

This will give all projected end dates which are upcoming in the next 28 days
 AND projected_end_date <= sysdate + 28

Also does your projected_end_date column is a date data type right ?

How about you do some testing? Try selecting the fields you want displayed, while adding the sysdate + something:

select col1, col2, sysdate, projected_end_date, sysdate + 4*7, projected_end_date - 4*7, projected_end_date + 4*7
from table;
