Port Forwarding issues with Fios-G1100 gateway

I am using the Fios-G1100.  I set up port forwarding as I have done on my other routers with no issue.  Only with the G1100, it isn't working.  I have tried to telnet into the server using the ports and no success.   I can telnet from the server itself using the local IP address and port.   We have confirmed that it is also set to forward to the correct local IP addess.  Anyone else had an issue with this specific model?

I don't have any experience with this router, but have you checked if you have blocked that port in router's firewall?
Maybe you can get some additional info at router's security log.

From the manual:
"6.1a/ ALLOW OR RESTRICT SERVICES
To allow or restrict services:
1. From the Firewall page, select Access Control. The Access
Control page opens with the Allows and Blocked sections
displayed. The Allowed section only displays when the
firewall is set to maximum security"

Thanks.  It says in the Access Control that it is only to block access.  Tried to add a value to the access list using the correct port and still no success.   Checked the security log and no mention at all of my attempted connection.   I am going to call Verizon and see if there isn't something wrong with the router itself.
