outlook 2010 error code 0x800CCC1A

We are running exchange 2010 under windows 2008 R2. Clients using outlook 2010 to access POP3 via SSL. Everything worked well until yesterday - clients accessing via outlook 2010 got error code 0x800CCC1A.

When I tried to telnet port 995, I got: -ERR Connection is closed. 13

Telnet to SMTP is still working. OWA is working well..

Any suggestions are highly appreciated!

Hi cwenn,

I guess you have an updates automatically set on machine. Can you check for Windows Update KB2868725
And If you have it, uninstall it, and then check if problem persist.

Thanks,

Dejan,

Thanks for your comments. The problem was caused by expired Certificate. Once I updated the Certificate, everything works again.

Hi cwenn,

I've didn't mention that, because I was sure that it is not the case since you are asking on EE.
Anyway, great that you have this fixed.

Thanks,
D.
