Concatenate - Hundred cells. Concatenate will take lot of time. Any array formula?

Hi,

Please see the attached Excel file. I need to concatenate some hundred cells like in the example. But using Concatenate or & will take lot of time. Is there any way possible without macro to do the job. Or, macro is the only solution.

I need to add names in B3, B4, B5, and so on. And the result should be Frank or Bill or Lucy... by adding an 'or' between the names.Concatenate-Names-Using-Or.xlsx

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Enter this formula into the required cell, but DO NOT press enter...

=CONCATENATE(TRANSPOSE(B3:B10)&" or ")

Select TRANSPOSE(B3:B10)&" or " in the formula and press the F9 key, which will convert the range to an array of values.
Remove the braces "{}".
Modify the last element to remove the " or ".
Press Enter.

The formula should end up looking like this....

=CONCATENATE("Frank or ","Bill or ","Lucy or ","Cathy or ","John or ","Zara or ","Chi or ","La")

These formulas...
EE1.jpg...produce this result:
EE2.jpg
To create those formulas, you only have to type in the first 2, like this:
EE3.jpg...and then copy formula next to Bill, and paste it into every cell below it that has a name to be processed.
