How to host WCF Rest Service on Windows server 2008 R2

Hi ,
I want to host WCF 3.5 Rest service globally in IIS. So it should be available and accessible anywhere. I deployed the service in IIS and accessible locally but I want to access it from other server.

How do you consume the service? Using C# in server-side code? Or simply browse service URI on a browser?

So you can access the WCF REST service locally (on the server/machine where it is installed), right? Try to check following things:
Is your service port is configured in Windows Firewall?
Can you browse to service WSDL (<service-endpoint>?WSDL) either by using IP or hostname?

What does prevent you from access the WCF from other servers or machines? You get an error when communicating with your service?

Normally as long as you deploy WCF REST service to IIS, you can use both IP or server host name to access the service.
