Is my email account compromised?

Hi,
When I try to mark an email as Spam it gives me this message:

Is Bill's account compromised?
You marked your contact's (my_account@yahoo.com) message as spam. Do you think this account may be compromised?
Yes   No

Is my account compromised?
What does that mean?
What do I do?
How do I get it uncompomised?

Yes   No
I think this is asking you think whether the sender's email has been compromised/hijacked.
It is most likely nothing to do with YOUR email.

Why else would you mark a message from one of your contacts as spam?

If you delete the contact you should then be able to mark the email as spam without any issues.

my_account@yahoo.com is MY email address... :(
I replace my email address with my_account for this post.

I am using Yahoo...
I would definitely change your Yahoo password right away.
Now I'm confused. Does the message definitely say .... Your contact's followed by your email
I still stand by my original post.

It's never any harm to change/strengthen your email password.
Don't forget to update any security info that could be used to retrieve/reset your password.
As I said.. this is exactly what it said except that I substitute "my_account" for what MY actual email address is.

Sorry, I really thought that when it referred to a contact, that it must be someone else.
It has been close to a week since we said "change your password".  Did you?  And then, did I have any effect?

Yes, I change my password as soon as you mentioned it.
I haven't tried to make something spam to see if anything changed so I have an answer this post until now.
I will see if it still doing it this morning and post again.
