Mac v PC Web Issue

I have a slide show on www.gopherstateevents.com that runs on the header of my site.  If I use chrome on a pc my social networks bar appears just fine but if I use chrome on my Macbook Air the social networks bar is behind the slide show and only briefly shows in transition.  Undoubtably user error.  Any help would be much appreciated.

It's hidden in both Firefox and Chrome on my PC.  I don't think it has anything to do with the Mac.

Oh crap, you're right.  Any ideas on how to fix it?

Not yet.  I tried giving it a high 'z-index' but that didn't have any effect.

Your HTML CSS structure is a bit confused .. there are a number of missing file errors you might want to look at .. but the social media panel is hidden because it does not have a proper-z-index set

Basically your social-media needs some CSS
#header #slider1_container {
z-index: 1;
}
#header . social_media {
  position: absolute;
  z-index: 100;
  right: 0;
}

I put that css in my stylesheet and it didn't seem to have an effect.  I will look at it again later but if you have any other advice that would be awesome as well.

Bob

That CSS will definitely fix that specific issue.

I cannot see the 2nd css element in your code
#header . social_media {
  position: absolute;
  z-index: 100;
  right: 0;
}
