SNMP in WinPE
Hi All,
Going to do this tomorrow and wanted to run it by.
I need to use SNMP (basically talk to as witch via the Q-Bridge mof, to find out what port is being used by what MAC.
Is there a simple way I can do this in WinPE? I tried with an old WinPE (3.0?) and SNMP is not supported.
I made one with ADK 8.0 this evening will test it in the AM. I did notice there is poweshell.
Any thoughts?
I will be running a script via vbs but am open for anything!

any ideas to get the mac table of a switch while in WinPE? I am trying to use Perl and compile it but not sure if that will work... need to use Q-Bridge as there are vlan's...
why are you fixated on using windows pe? A linux live-cd would be a better fit here.
