FaceBook administrative access lost

A new client of mine had to let go their I.T. person who upon leaving locked them out of Facebook by changing the administrator name and password.
This is a township Facebook page, is there a way of resetting the admin and password? Can we get any support from Facebook? if so where do i need to address this issue?
Also note the email account used to log in is also used for a personal account, so when i try to do the reset password, it gave me the personal Facebook page and not the township one.
Looking for any guidance in this

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

It's worth noting that Facebook Pages are managed by admins who have individual personal Facebook accounts (a Facebook Page must be linked to individual accounts through admin roles). Pages are not separate Facebook accounts and do not have separate login information.

What happened here is probably a result of the IT person being the admin of the Page (through their personal account) and subsequently changing the password.

Through the personal account you are using to access the Page, try requesting admin privileges to regain access to manage the Page. Only the those with admin roles on the Page can add you in.

I would also highly recommend asking a question in their support community, as they are very responsive there. They might be able to contact you directly to help solve your problem.

Hope this helps!
