I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Do you mean folder names?  Because if you know the folder path, you do not need to search ;-)

well yes it will work to find your folder

however here is the one that with import txt file for sourcepath and I am assuming the phrase that you search is the same
e.g "Ineedmyfolder"

$fileName = Read-Host "Please Enter Folder Name to Search"
$contentfile = "C:\Folders\Folders.txt"
Get-Content $contentfile | % {
ChildItem $_ -Recurse -Force -ErrorAction SilentlyContinue | Where-Object { ($_.PSIsContainer -eq $true) -and  ( $_.Name -like "*$fileName*") } } | Select-Object Name,FullName | format-Table * -AutoSize
