Expired Exchange Certificate

My certificate for the Exchange 2013 server expired today.  What is the quickest solution to get the connectivity back to the Outlook clients?  How do I go about renewing the existing cert?

You need to create a new certificate request and submit it to your CA. Your CA will then send you a valid certificate.

You need to generate a new CSR from IIS on one of the CAS servers. From there you need to make sure that you renew your UCC cert with the following DNS names...
autodiscover.domain.com
mail.domain.com

- import the cert into the CAS server where you generated the CSR
- make sure that when you import the crt file that you make the private key exportable
- open EMS
- Type Get-ExchangeCertificate | fl
- You will see the new certificate list
- Type Enable-Exchange Certificate -Thumbprint xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx -services "pop, imap, smtp, iis"

Export the certificate and import it on to any other CAS servers that you have in your environment. Perform the same steps above for Enable-ExchangeCertificate.

Will.

Is it not possible to get it renewed from GoDaddy and keep the same cert?

You need to create a new cert request on exchange server.

You can then use that request on GoDaddy for a new cert - only way.
