Migration on Autocomplete in Outlook 2010/2013

Hello,

I want to migrate autocomplete contacts from Outlook 2010 to another Outlook 2010. I am using Exchange Online O365

I exported all my OST mailbox to a PST file. It created a contact folder called autocomplete

In a new empty Outlook (also Exchange Online Office365, but another mailbox, another domain) I opened the PST file and manually copied all autocomplete contacts to the new Outlook autocomplete folder

COpy is OK and all contacts appears in the autocomplete contact folder but it does not work and contacts does not appear automatically when sending mail in the TO: field

Ant idea how to solve my problem?

Thank you

HI,

The autocomplete entries are contained in the Stream_Autocomplete file associated with your Outlook profile.

That is located here C:\Users\*username*\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook\RoamCache\

1.  Turn on show hidden files.
2.  Browse to that location and copy the Stream_Autocomplete_*** file to flash drive or email it to yourself

On the new computer:

1.  Close out Outlook
2.  Turn on show hiddden files
3.  Browse to C:\Users\*username*\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook\RoamCache\
4.  Copy the file name of the Stream_Autocomplete_*** to the clipboard then rename it to OLD_Stream_Autocomplete_***
5.  Copy the Stream_Autocomplete from file from the old computer to same location and give it the name you copied in step 4

I tried dmwynne solution :
all autocomplete contacts does now correctly appear when using the TO: to send a message in Outlook 2010 (good thing)
but they do not appear in the Web Access (Office 365) nor it the autocomplete contact folder in Outlook 2010

How do I do to make autocomplete contacts appear in the Web Access (O365) ?
 THank you
Auto complete is not something that the webmail supports. So it does not synchronize back to Office 365.
nk2 edit was very helpful
Thank you
