VB .net code to connect to a sql server database

I am new to VB .Net for windows forms applicaitons. I need to query a table named "ClubMembers", and then display the club member data in a GridView control.
What is stopping me is that I need some VB .Net code to connect to the sql server database. Can someone share with me some VB .Net code to connect to a sql server database? ado.net is ok.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.
