Asp.net web service output

Hello Experts,

My webservice returns output as,

<soap:Envelope xmlns:soap="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema">

      <getRILPODataResponse xmlns="https://kaykay.co.in/">
         <getRILPODataResult>3</getRILPODataResult>
      </getRILPODataResponse>
   </soap:Body>
</soap:Envelope>

While we are expecting below output
<?xml version = "1.0" encoding = "UTF-8"?>

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

SOAP requires that you have an envelope and a body element. So your expected output does not comply with that..

So the question is: What kind of web service do you want to write? SOAP, restful or your own?

Hi Ste5an,,
Any webservice that can return output in desired format :)
Please let me know
Johny BravoAuthor Commented:
Is there anyway to get the output in desired format?

Maybe I missed something, but SOAP web services are normed. The envelope is mandatory, also is the body.
