I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Is it a specific document or do you want the user to be able to select the document(s)?

Also, do you just want to list the bookmark names?

I need a list of bookmark names in a specific document
check this code
Public Sub listbookmarks()
    Dim wrdApp As Word.Application
    Dim wrdDoc As Word.Document
    Set wrdApp = CreateObject("Word.Application")
    wrdApp.Visible = True
    Set wrdDoc = wrdApp.Documents.Open("c:\testfile.docx")
    With wrdDoc
    Dim E As Bookmark
  For Each E In wrdDoc.Bookmarks
Debug.Print E.Name
  End With
   wrdApp.Quit ' close the Word application
   Set wrdDoc = Nothing
   Set wrdApp = Nothing
End Sub
