Access Slowness while accessing shares on mapped drives
Hail to all professionals,
I'm facing a peculiar issue while accessing shares presented on a File server mapped drive when using clients behind firewall.
The connection between the 2 networks seem fine however the culprit lies elsewhere.
I need your help identifying this issue' whereabouts since its affecting the user experience while accessing application from these clients.

The issue dates way back.
I have the problem with all clients on my LAN while accessing the shares using WAN connection.
The problem is when accessing file or running running application that needs files from these shares

What you are saying is ... this has never worked correctly?
Running applications is not recommended across a WAN.

You see the idea here is that I have clients PCs on Site A querying files mapped on a file server in Site B.
The users are reporting very slow access while trying to connect to these shares to fetch reports from a certain application.
I checked the connectivity between the 2 sites and there is no latency nor disconnection on the microwave link

Are you just opening files or running executables?
