I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

That's an alarming number.

Just to get you started, can I assume you've looked at the various web pages that talk about this topic? Here are a couple that I found:

The server is dedicated to SQL Server engine? Or do you have more things installed?
Please count SSAS, SSIS & SSRS and non part of SQL Server engine.

please post your OS version\edition \service pack
also for your sql 2012 edition and service pack

you need make sure to have the latest sp for OS and sql server installed that can fix your issue
Also,as per above post, tell what sql components are installed, etc
and try the sysinteranls VMMap utility

<VMMap is a process virtual and physical memory analysis utility>
