Folder created in cached mode missing when online or in owa

I have a laptop user using Outlook 2010 in cached mode. A folder he created while not connected to the network is missing when connecting via OWA. Taking the user out of cached mode makes the folder disappear. If I add the user's mailbox to my client (connected directly in the office) the folder is missing as well.

The user is also configured to use Outlook Anywhere, so it seems that it should be available anywhere.

Any ideas?

Sounds like the new folder is in the OST and has not been synced back to the server for it to show in OWA or when in online mode. Maybe start with hitting "Send/Receive"?

Worst case you might need to delete the OST in order to create a new one.. maybe need to watch user doesnt lose any info that has not synced from the offline file though

I ended up recreating the folder on the online client, resynched, and it fixed it. Thanks!
