I have a few databases that need to be restored onto a sql cluster. This is a normal fail over cluster and not a always on cluster. <br />

DBserver1 drive mapped to san drive P (db storage drive)<br />
DBserver2 drive mapped to san drive P (db storage drive)<br />

Default instance for the cluster<br />

&nbsp;when I connect to the default instance on the cluster I have to use the virtual name. Do i also restore directly back using the default name? <br />

There is no way for me to log onto the local default instance of sql server
