restoring database on standalone server to sql cluster

I have a few databases that need to be restored onto a sql cluster. This is a normal fail over cluster and not a always on cluster.

DBserver1 drive mapped to san drive P (db storage drive)
DBserver2 drive mapped to san drive P (db storage drive)

Default instance for the cluster

when I connect to the default instance on the cluster I have to use the virtual name. Do i also restore directly back using the default name?

There is no way for me to log onto the local default instance of sql server

Logon to the active node and restore the DB there.

There's no default instance for cluster. A clustered instance need always to be a named instance.

Because as I said there's no default instance in a cluster. If you have one it's because isn't a clustered instance (only works on that node).
