I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

What is the SQL Server part of your question?

Do you run MS Access under the same user account as Windows Explorer?

Do you mean Windows Server 2008 (R2 or not?)? Or do you mean Windows 8?

I am sorry,

I have 2008 R2

I run MS Access under the same sign On (account)

This is only for MS Access, I do not see any mapped drives the only drives I see: C and D
I just looked at Word, Excel and all mapped drives are there.

I see.

You're sure about the same account? Maybe it's UAC.

Amour22015Author Commented:
Ok so I think I used UAC correctly?

I went into the link provided
I used the net use command

Using Cmd Prompt>right click>run as administrator

Then I just typed in:
Net Use <enter>
and within the cmd prompt window I could see all mapped drives.

So I went back into MS Access:
Now I can see all mapped drives in Access when I open.

Like it is mentioned: "hmm, weird. "

Thanks
