HP LJ P2055dn manual feeder have to push button

Hello,

I have an HP LaserJet P2055dn on my network print server.  We have had many an issue with this thing, but I think we've gotten it ironed out except for one last little thing.  Every time you want to use the manual feeder for say, an envelope, you have to push the button after you feed the paper to get it to print.  None of our other printers on the network require you to push the button to feed the paper?  Am I missing a setting somewhere on this?

Thanks,
Mike

I figured it out.  In the application (WORD), you need to set the tray to Tray 1.  This is accomplished by opening WORD and clicking on Mailings, then Envelopes.  In the Envelopes and Labels window, you'll see the tray selection right above the "Print" button near the bottom.  If it says Manual Feed, then you need to change it to Tray 1 by selecting the "Options" button and clicking on the Printing Options tab.  Then select Tray 1 in the "Feed from:" drop-down list and click on OK.  Now fill in your addresses and hit Print and all is well.
