Apply dynamic filter to Project Center Web Part

Hi,

Is there a way to add the Project Center Web Part to a page then have it only show project where the current user is the owner?

Cheers,

Lee

Hi,

you can use the Project Center web part in a SharePoint site and use the URL for a given view. The view itself needs to be setup in PWA so that the user only sees her own projects by using the category "My Projects" or a custom category where you only select the "The User is the Project Owner or the User is the Status Manager on assignments within that Project" option.

So it's not the way how you add the web part but the way how the Project Center view has been designed.

Hope this helps

Thomas

To display a custom field with URL in Project Center view
1) Open Project in Project Professional.
2) Make sure “Show Project Summary” is selected.
3) Add Hyperlink Column.
4) Enter the URL in hyperlink column for Project Summary Task.
5) Publish the Project Plan
6) After this you need to add the Hyperlink Column to Project Center view and change the Column Label.
You can now see the Site URL hyperlink in Project Center view,
