Outlook 2013 cannot expand folders

Hi,

Customer is using Exchange 2007 on SBS 2008. A new mailbox has been created. Full access rights given to 3 users.

User A who runs Outlook 2007 can access the additional mailbox. Users B and C who run Outlook 2013 do get an error message "Cannot Expand Folders". This does not sound like a permission issue but rather as an Outlook 2013 issue.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Does users B and C have the correct permissions on the mailbox? If they do not then what you see is the results of that.

Your best test would be to have users B and C open their outlook using a 2007 client (on a different machine) and if it works then you can assume it might be something with the client. If they get the same results check the permissions again as this is likely the issue.

I rechecked the access rights and found that user rights for A, B and C were granted on the mailbox through a security group. User A also had been granted full access rights explicitely. After granting rights explicitely for all users, they all have access to the mailbox.

Thanks.
