I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

When you say console, you mean web interface to CUCM?

For example, one #1, you would modify Device --> line on the left, then set the "Line Text Label"
1)Change display name on the phone?

Call Routing > Directory Number
Enter the DN or extension for the phone
Select the Associated Device and click Edit Line Appearance
Change the text in "Line Text Label" and "ASCII Line Text Label" fields for the DN.
Save and Apply Config

 2)Change speed dials for phones?

Device > Phone
enter the data you need to find the phone (MAC, Description, DN, etc.)
In Related Links go to "Add/Update Speed Dials" or "Add/Update Busy Lamp Field Speed Dials"
Add, Change, or Delete the speed dials configured
Save Speed Dials and close the popup window
Click the "Modify Button Items" and move the speed dials into the correct button order

 3)Change/update phone numbers?

This question is ambiguous and could mean 10 different things.

For question 2, how do we change Device Pool ? the numbers I have to change are for different Device Pool, means I can only see one device pool, under search when I select a different device pool, I don't see any numbers....
numbers are not in device pools.  devices are in device pools.  the numbers are in partitions.

Are they in the same partition or different partitions?
