samsung galaxy headphone converter

I keep about 3 or 4 of these handy, at work, in my car, at home. I get them from here.

Does the Galaxy 3 use a 2.5 mm jack? Then you would need something like this:

Also consider that this 6.5mm Female to 3.5mm Male Stereo Audio Converter plug sticks out and may lead to annoyance and or damage to the Galaxy 3, thus in to 6.5mm Female to 3.5mm Male Stereo Audio Converter plug a 3.5mm Male Right Angle to 3.5mm Female Gold Stereo Audio Cable is recommeded to prevent this annoyance and or damage.

If you really need to go from a normal 3.5mm jack to the large 6.35mm jack, then I don't think an adapter without cable in between is a good idea. That adapter is pretty large and heavy, and adds a relatively big lever on the plug it goes into. If you jolt it by bumping into it, or it drops, it is more likely to break the tablet because of this larger lever. If there is a cable in between that risk is smaller.

I cannot find any 6.5mm Female to 3.5mm Male Stereo Audio Converter plugs with cable with a right angle 3.5mm Male plug listed ...

thus in order to use the  6.5mm Female to 3.5mm Male Stereo Audio Converter plug without obstuction or the possibility of damage to your Galaxy 3,then I suggest you also use a 3.5mm Male Right Angle to 3.5mm Female Stereo Audio Cable to prevent this annoyance and or damage.
