Outlook Search does not work properly

Outlook Search does not work properly

In outlook search box if I search a keyword on the subject , I get 2 messages that have that keyword I typed. the messages are both received on 04/30/2015.
However if I create a search folder and put the same keyword in the criteria, I get more than 2 messages , some received on 04/30/2015 and
some received on 05/01/2015.

I wonder why it is acting up this way.

in Outlook options, I selected the search to happen on all folders. I enabled Indexing and search Feature in "Turn on/off windows features"
rebuild the index in Outlook, recreated Outlook profile, checked the outlook view settings and the filter is off..

Any help?

Thank you.

If you check the Message Options on each of the emails - you may discover that the messages were sent around midnight and from different time zones.  If you have the Time that the message was sent rather than received then that could be why you are seeing that .  Also check that the time on the machine is accurate and withing a minute of any servers you have
