New Exchange 2013 connectivity issues

We are in the process of setting up a replacement Exchange 2013 server to replace our current Exchange 2007 server.  I have only 1 issue left before I can move users over to the new server.  I can not connect to the Exchange 2013 server from outside of our network with Outlook.  I can however use OWA to get to the 2013 server.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to access the new server and the old server keeping both online and accessible

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You need to setup one or more test accounts and then use those test accounts with the Exchange Remote Connectivity Analyzer to figure out what is going on. my guess is that this probably has to do with your autodiscover records and which server autodiscover is pointed to. Run the client side test as well to make sure everything is setup properly from an internal perspective. You will need to have internal split DNS setup properly as well.

Hope this helps!
