I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Based on the error message in the screenshot you are getting this error message because you are using the internal server name for your virtual directories. If your cert has mail.domain.com then that is what you should be using for ALL of your virtual directories. This goes for both internal and external.

You just need to make sure that for Internal you have split DNS setup. Creating a Zone for externaldomain.com and adding a Host A record pointing to your CAS server internal IP address.

A side from that you should not have to do anything on the cert itself.
