I have one table in my DB that I can't delete. When I try i get an error message "Unrecognized database format".

I just want to delete the table "32-ProActive Audit".

When I was creating the table strange syombles appeared in the field names.

THe DB file is zipped and attached.

Try to re-open it, or open it using higher version of MS office, if you're using MS office version lower than 2013.

Try to compact and repair the database. I tried it, and access deleted the unrecognized table.

*First* make a back up of the database as-is (Just to be on the safe side)
...Then try the Experts suggestions

Additionally, this is not normal.

You may want to take the precaution of importing all objects into a new database.

Those Chinese characters in table fields are a very bad sign . . .

I recommend making a new database and importing all objects into it except the corrupted table.
