"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

It should be in C:\Program Files\Adobe\Reader (Version Number)\Reader

> which directory

Depends on the version of Reader and whether Vista is 32-bit or 64-bit. For example, Reader XI:

Vista/32-bit:
c:\Program Files\Adobe\Reader 11.0\Reader\

Vista/64-bit:
c:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Reader 11.0\Reader\

> and what is the name

AcroRd32.exe
