Microsoft CAL Software -- HyperV or SpareLaptop ?
I have 20 users who only use Microsoft Visio
edit features a few times per year, therefore
I would like a "2 user concurrent license"
instead of a "20 users named license",
but I don't think they sell a concurrent
license, therefore which one of the
below do you recommend ?
-------------------------- ---------- ----------
Option
#1 = install Microsoft Visio on two old
junk laptops, have users CHECKOUT
the laptop when needed
#2 = install Microsoft Visio on two
HyperV Windows 8.1 Pro VMs, have
users LOGIN to these VMs when needed

I am going to have four KIOSK accounts --> KIOSK1, KIOSK2, KIOSK3, KIOSK4
Users go to a website, click on a not-in-use KIOSK1, KIOSK2, KIOSK3, KIOSK4 VM, and do their edits.
I assume this would be legal, eliminating the need for 20 "named user" Project licenses down to 4 "named user" when I will only have up to 4 concurrent user=KIOSK1, KIOSK2, KIOSK3, or KIOSK4 account names ?

2. How can I somehow display "VM RDP status" on a webpage so user
knows which VMs are "Not in Use" so before they login ?
