Google Chrome Bookmark

I am using Google Chrome on Windows.  Recently, when I add a bookmark I get a popup window (see attached screenshot), I can't seem to figure out how to remove this window, and it doesn't allow me to pick the bookmark folder.  Any help is appreciated, thanks.

When you pick the star a 2nd time, it doesn't disappear?

hello @NewVillageIT, thanks again for assisting.    Trying to follow your question, when I pick the star a 2nd time, meaning when I try to save the bookmark again....?  I just tried doing this and the popup still appears (not allowing me to choose a folder).

Ctrl +Shift+B  to show bookmark bar.
Now when you want to bookmark a page simply drag URI to bookmark bar, done!

The popup is a UI change they made and normal in the latest version of Chrome.

Inside the popup; Right above/on top of the the big blue 'View all Bookmarked Items'

You should be able to click on  the 'Add To Folder'  to expand,
then it shows a list of folders and a textbox in the popup Window you can use to create an additional folder or choose an existing one.

@Mysidia, thanks for the info, I had tried this before, but now it seems to work. Very annoying process I find.   I had to turn off the bookmarks bar and then when I add the bookmark, I had to click the arrow to the right to find the folders.  Thanks for everyones help
