Tracking conversions - Adwords and analytics

This is the URL of the site:
http://www.customerhappinesstour.com/fr/2015/june11/

There is a button at the bottom for registration:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/18rdz1sqypdi8o7/Screenshot%202015-05-07%2016.19.21.png?dl=0

If you click on that, you will get a form. This is a marketo form. I have included the code for the marketo form.

However, there is no "Thank-you" page URL here. How do we track conversions on adwords and analytics.

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You'll need to update the javascript to push an event into GA when the submit button is pressed. Something similar to:

<script type="text/javascript">
	function formSubmit(elt) {
        _gaq.push(['_trackEvent', 'OFFERTYPE', 'ACTION', 'OFFERNAME']);
	return Mkto.formSubmit(elt);
	}
	function formReset(elt) {
	return Mkto.formReset(elt);
	}
</script>

Open in new window

You'd replace the CAPS with correct values for the event you want pushed into Analytics.

In Analytics, you'd set up a Goal that consists of this Event being fired.

What would the values of the event be?

Something like:

_gaq.push(['_trackEvent', 'FORM', 'submit', 'Customer Happiness Tour 11 JUIN 2015']);

Ok. But how would these conversions show up in Google adwords? The gapush code edit would only make the conversions show up in Google anaytics.

Also, for your GA comment, how do I turn that into a Goal in GA and import that into adwords.

I know there is a way to import Google analytics goals into adwords:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/8h9o8430pwlqhls/Screenshot%202015-05-08%2012.19.36.png?dl=0

But how do I create a goal in GA in this case for that form fill ?

In GA go to Admin > Goals to setup a new goal. You'll setup a custom goal for an "event" similar to:
ga-goal.PNG
Ok. But how would these conversions show up in Google adwords?
In Adwords you'll go to Tools > Conversions > Google Analytics to import the goal to Adwords.
