I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Start with checking exchange related services. Make sure all services are running. Especially, which are set to automatic. Next open IIS and check, all sites are running. Check event logs for any error related to OWA. Finally, restart the server and check if that helps to fix it.

It turned out that the error message came from a third party application called Messageware that we use to enhance OWA, Support sent us an update to be applied that fixed the issue.
