Hide Mobile Number from Exchange GAL

We are needing to hide the mobile phone number of specific users in our Global Address list.  We are using Exchange 2010 SP3 on an AD 2008 R2 domain.

What would be the best way to go about removing permissions for users so they can't see this attribute in the GAL or ADUC but still allow service accounts to read this attribute?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You cannot do this natively through Exchange but you can modify the attributes through Active Directory. See the link below.

Use extensions attribute option. I use it for my SSO application. Not visible from normal ADUC. You need to use attribute editor to view it.
