Rsync or what ever 101

I have a directory that is correctly setup up on
192.168.1.100   /home/timfox123/repo

I want to duplicate that to
192.168.1.101   /home/timfox123/repo

I am going to need to do this for every server I build so I need to have it simple, and to copies with the directorates / rights and the likes.

This is linux ( ubuntu )   current version

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

did you try a basic rsync -avz command from source to destination? if not why and if so what didn't work? should be fairly basic.
