how to sync peg Sj22 Sony with windows 7

I used my cd rom of installation of sj-22 but the message is: this version is incompatible with Window 7  . You probably need 64 bits version.     Before, i was running with window XP.   So. I  installed Palm hot sync set up from the web. When i try to hot sync, the answer is:  "The connection between your handheld computer and the desktop could not be established. Please check your setup and try again."Set up is ok . Wath can I do now ? Merci

unfortunately supporting 12 year old hardware with software of the same age is rather problematic .. using XP in virtualbox or vmware player are two alternatives but probably not attractive to you.. Have you tried 'run this anyways' option .. much of palm os software used com ports and actual serial ports are getting hard to get on motherboards these days. Like parallel ports or ide ports they are becoming an item of a bygone era.  You might be able to get someone to use the application compatibility toolkit to create a shim to allow that program to run.  It is up to you to decide whether it is worth the time and effort for this relatively ancient piece of functional hardware.
