Hide all but last row in child tables

I have a table with several nested tables in, which I want to hide all but the last row in each child table, but not touch the parent table, just to show the last record from the nested table.

My thought was to hide all the rows, then show the last row, like:-
$(document).ready(function () {
    $('#tbl1 table:first tr').each(function () {
        $(this).css('display', 'none');
    $('#tbl1 table tr').last().css('display ','inline');

Open in new window

However it doesnt even hide any of the rows :-(

Ive uploaded some test data onto jsFiddle in the hope someone can assist me with this

Any ideas?

Here you go. Have a look at this:

$('#tbl1 table').each(function() {
    $('tr:not(:last-child)', this).hide();
