Setup cannot find Office.en-us\OfficeLR.cab. Outlook 2010

Hi all.

I'm trying to install Outlook 2010 only, when I click the setup file I get the following message after a couple of minutes:

"Setup cannot find Office.en-us\OfficeLR.cab. Browse to a valid installation source, and then click OK."

I go to the install folder and I see OfficeLR but it appears as WinZip File and not as a Cabinet File. Any idea how I can get this to work?

Thank you in advance.

one of the things that winzip does on installation is associate itself with .cab files so you will see the results that you specified. To get around this visual limitation go into explorer's folder options and uncheck hide extensions for known file types.

The cab file may be damaged which is why office setup can't find it.
