Is the Intel RAID Expander RES2SV240 a PCIe 2.0 or 3.0 card?

Is the PCIe generation of the Intel RAID Expander RES2SV240 . . .  2.0 or 3.0? Please let me know. Intel's website doesn't really say as far as I can tell. All I know is that it has a PCIe x4 connector.

It's a PCIe 2.0 connector.

I've checked some German and Dutch websites and they say the same, and it's even to be found in the production brief of the RES2SV240 card, only you can't see it, it's printed on the picture of the card, right on top of the number 2. If you zoom in very high you might see it.

The PCIe version is irrelevant, it's a SAS expander card. All data goes in and out via the SAS connectors. No data goes through the PCIe bus*. The only reason it has a PCIe connector on it is to get power to the SAS expander chip and to secure it in the chassis. It's the same chip you see on disk backplanes and they have no PCI interface slot.

*there may be a tiny bit of monitoring data that goes through the PCIe bus but HP's version (based on a different SAS expander chip) doesn't even appear on the PCIe bus during POST. It's not a PCI device.
