Are you able to run Get-Mailbox -Identity Paul.Knight? Is this Paul.Knight's mailbox does exist?
Nathan HawkinsTechnical Lead - Network SecurityCommented:
Try restarting the remote registry service on the CA Servers
Viral RathodConsultantCommented:
It most likely a replication issue between DCs ,check replication using following commands.

repadmin /replsummary

Or you can just restart the remote registry service on the CA Servers and then execute your Get command...
suriyaehnopCommented:
If you find the user is mailbox user and you can find the user in a specific DC. You can run this:

Get-Mailbox -Identity Paul.Knight -DomainController DCName | FL DefaultPublicFolderMailbox

Hi Alan,

You may have the identity format incorrect. Try the following code and see if you get a hit

Get-Mailbox -Filter {name -like "*knight*"} | Ft name, DefaultPublicFolderMailbox
