Migrating from SSRS 2008R2 to SSRS 2012

We're in the process of moving our SQL Server Reporting Services server from a 2008R2 environment to a 2012/2014 environment (SQL Server 2014 Database on the DB Server, SQL Server 2012 Reporting Services on the SSRS web server).   As part of this move, we have to rename the SSRS database from ReportServer / ReportServerTempDB to Client_Reportserver and Client_ReportServerTempDB.  I've tried simply backing up and restoring the SSRS database, however I get errors when trying to run reports in the new environment.

Is there a best practices way to do this and have everything transfer over, so I don't need to manually move reports and re-set up subscriptions?
