Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found) at http://localhost/favicon.ico

I am using Netbeans. When I start my application in my local server just loading up login.php, I am getting this error message on the Console:

Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found) (14:03:05:704 | error, network)
  at http://localhost/favicon.ico

The weird part is my page is not even  using favicon.ico. Does anyone know why that message keeps coming up and how to get rid of it?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Internet Explorer makes a request for favicon.ico, so I would say that the simplest solution is to add a favicon.ico.
